A note from the owner

My love for coffee began at a very early age.  Born and raised in Colombia,  coffee was all around me.   Later on, after moving to the U.S, to study and then a brief stint in the design industry,   with the help of my husband,  we decided  to take our love for all things coffee to the next level. Our first coffee shop opened in Hoboken NJ in 2003 under the name Mola Coffee.  After successfully operating it for three years, selling the shop and moving to Brazil, we came back to settle in the Mamaroneck - Larchmont  NY  area, where the doors to Cafeto were opened on January 2nd 2019.  

 

Inspired by our true love of all things coffee, Cafeto started out as a Latina, family-owned and women-operated cafe, with one goal in mind: just good  coffee. With a passion for serving the best coffee in the area with quality and love. You'll find the highest craftsmanship in our espresso based drinks, drip coffee and all of our bites that are made from scratch in house. 

At Cafeto, we take pride in offering a wide range of gourmet coffee options. From our meticulously handcrafted refreshing iced lattes to our cold brew, each cup is made with love and expertise. Our baristas roast the beans in-house using a Bellwether electric roaster ensuring freshness, sustainability, and delivering the most aromatic flavors (trust us, it’s good coffee). For those seeking non-dairy alternatives, we proudly serve oatmilk (that we also make in house using Numilk) for a creamy and sustainable latte experience. Make sure to try our Oatchata, Cafeto's oat based version of the famous and refreshing Mexican horchata made with cinnamon and white chocolate infused oat milk. 

But it's not just about the coffee - we also offer an array of mouth watering pastries baked fresh daily. Whether you're craving a gluten-free treat or indulging in a classic croissant, our selection of delectable pastries will satisfy every craving. We embrace our international culture and have Brazilian Pão de Queijo, Mexican Baked Egg Cup, and much more. If you’re looking for a quick lunch bite, you have to try our Mini Sandwiches on a mini baguette with your choice of prosciutto, havarti, or salami and brie. Everything we make is produced using only the finest ingredients and without any preservatives.
